How we handle personal information, in plain language.
Flare Design Pty Limited handles personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988, including the Australian Privacy Principles and the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme, and the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
This website
This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising trackers, and loads nothing from third parties. Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (such as IP addresses and the pages requested) for security and to keep the site running. We do not use those logs to identify or profile visitors.
When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your name, email address and whatever you choose to tell us. We use it to reply to you and, if we go on to work together, to manage that engagement. It goes to the people who need it to respond, and is not added to any mailing list, sold or shared for marketing.
Storage and security
Email is held in our business email system with access limited to our staff. We keep correspondence only as long as we need it for the purpose it was sent, or as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, tell us first and we will respond. You can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au) or the New Zealand Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz).
